Luftgekühlt Wrocław

A couple of years ago, we made our way to Poland for something really special - the Luftgekühlt European tour. If you know Luft, you know it’s not just a car show. It’s a celebration of everything we love about the air-cooled Porsche world - the history, the people, the artistry, and the stories that connect us.

Set in a gritty and run-down railway location, the event felt like stepping into a time capsule where design, culture, and passion collided. The location was raw and unpolished, yet perfectly framed the beauty of the cars. Sunlight cut through old metal structures, casting a golden haze over rows of early 911s, 912s, and rare builds we’d only seen online before. It wasn’t showroom clean - it was real, lived-in, and deeply atmospheric. You could walk around in silence and still feel like the cars were speaking to you.

The crowd was just as diverse and passionate as the lineup. People came from all corners of the world - some driving in convoy, others flying in just to witness it firsthand.

There were moments of stillness where you'd catch yourself just staring at a dusty 356 or a perfectly patina’d long-hood, lost in thought.

And then there were the spontaneous conversations - with strangers who felt more like friends you hadn’t met yet - about their Porsche projects, road trips, or the crazy lengths we go to for these cars.

The one Porsche that captured everyone’s attention, was this beautiful 1969 Bahama yellow 911E. The 911E which stands for “Einspritzung“ in German, translating to “Injection”, refers to the mechanical fuel injection of the motor. What is better than a 911? - One which has a surf board!

For us, Luft Poland wasn’t just about the cars - it was about the feeling. That indescribable buzz when you’re surrounded by people who just get it. Who live and breathe the same obsession.

It reminded us what Club Enthusiast is all about. Passion, connection, and chasing moments that make the journey worth it. Luftgekühlt Poland was more than an event. It was a reminder that this community stretches far and wide - and that we’re all part of something bigger than ourselves…
